As long as you do not love yourself, you need to seek love for yourself in others. As long as you seek love for yourself in others, you get a glimpse of heaven through them. It’s a heaven you could create yourself, but until you become aware of the psychological and spiritual dynamic that is occurring, you have no inkling of this potential for heaven in your very own self. Therefore feeling so good when you see love expressed for yourself in others, and feeling so devastated when that love is withdrawn, should give you a major clue to what is really happening.
